At Hinojosa Paper Sarrià, we make 100% recycled paper with FSC sustainability certificate. The plant belongs to Hinojosa, leader of the packaging sector in the Iberian Peninsula. The company has experienced a significant growth in the last years. Currently owns twenty manufacturing plants in Spain, Portugal and France.
Hinojosa’s business model is based on the circular economy, promoting the reuse of resources, the minimization of waste and efficiency in the processes. In this line, we have installed a biogas plant and a biomass plant in Sarrià de Ter, with which 100% of the steam used for drying the paper will be generated from clean energy.
