At the DBA Centre – University of Lleida we develop and transfer technology in the field of circular bioeconomy. The main areas of expertise include:
1.- The use wood biomass, agro-food residues or manure to obtain different kinds of product
2.- The valorisation of used clothes and fabrics.
3.- The use of (bio)plastics in agriculture and the assessment of their short and long term effect on soils and crops.
4.- The development and application of circularity indicators to compare different processes.
We are involved in the Circular Bioeconomy Hub of Catalonia promoted by several organism in our region.
