Mercè Balcells Director of the DBA CentreUniversitat de Lleida (UdL)

Biography

PhD on chemistry, she is professor at the Chemistry Department of the University of Lleida. She has been the director of the DBA Centre included in the TECNIO network and specialized in Circular Bioeconomy. She has taken part in several projects related to the valorisation of biomass from forest and agro-food industries to obtain value-added products with application to different industries.
