He holds a degree in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and master’s degrees in Public Economics (University of York, UK)

Much of his professional career has been linked to public management. In recent years he has developed several responsibilities in the field of economic management in the Government of Catalonia. In June 2021, he was appointed Secretary for Business and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Business and Labour
