PICVISA is an innovative technology-based company that offers solutions based on robotics, artificial intelligence and machine vision to the national and international markets. We design, develop and produce selection and classification equipment for valuable materials. Our equipment can select and classify these materials by composition, shape and/or colour based on our own software. With innovation as our focus, we have expanded our offer by developing new products and adapting to new technologies.
As part of our commitments, we want to promote circular economy, and therefore we want to achieve a recovery rate of 90% of all waste generated by 2025 and become a Zero Waste to Landfill company. Furthermore, at Ferrer, we are committed to implementing a sustainable packaging model that allows us to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging by 25% through the sustainable design of 50% of our products by 2030.
Renueva project a circular economy project with social value that aims to recover the PET from plastic bottles in the away-from-home channel to reintroduce it as recycled material (rPET) in the DANONE WATERS’ products while empowering and training people in risk of social exclusion in the field of waste management and accompany them towards social and labor reinsertion. The project aims to answer to local social and environmental challenges by providing an inclusive business solution, aligned to Danone’s vision “One Planet, One Health”.
Our mission is to supply the industry with the tools it needs to be more sustainable, and together reduce 8million tonnes of plastic which end up in the ocean every year. We’ve developed a range of biomaterials that work with classic plastic machinery.
The Recyclability Certificate and Label is born from a need of GREMI associates. Given the growing generation of waste that is advertised as recyclable and that in reality it is not. Together with DriadeSM and the UNESCO chair we have developed this method to quantify the actual recyclability of packaging. With this we want to influence ecodesign, the ecomodulation of rates for recycling and the consumer.
We are an impact startup that helps people, companies and town councils in their path to zero waste through new technologies, environmental education and gamification.
