PICVISA is an innovative technology-based company that offers solutions based on robotics, artificial intelligence and machine vision to the national and international markets. We design, develop and produce selection and classification equipment for valuable materials. Our equipment can select and classify these materials by composition, shape and/or colour based on our own software. With innovation as our focus, we have expanded our offer by developing new products and adapting to new technologies.

FERRER, pharmaceutical products with a sustainable packaging model

As part of our commitments, we want to promote circular economy,and therefore we want to achieve a recovery rate of 90% of all waste generated by 2025 and become a Zero Waste to Landfill company. Furthermore, at Ferrer, we are committed to implementing a sustainable packaging model that allows us to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging by 25% through the sustainable design of 50% of our products by 2030.

AGUAS DANONE ESPAÑA, RENUEVA project, social value that aims to recover the PET from plastic bottles

Renueva project a circular economy project with social value that aims to recover the PET from plastic bottles in the away-from-home channel to reintroduce it as recycled material (rPET) in the DANONE WATERS’ products while empowering and training people in risk of social exclusion in the field of waste management and accompany them towards social and labor reinsertion. The project aims to answer to local social and environmental challenges by providing an inclusive business solution, aligned to Danone’s vision “One Planet, One Health”.

The Recyclability Certificate and Label is born from a need of GREMI associates. Given the growing generation of waste that is advertised as recyclable and that in reality it is not. Together with DriadeSM and the UNESCO chair we have developed this method to quantify the actual recyclability of packaging. With this we want to influence ecodesign, the ecomodulation of rates for recycling and the consumer.

POPSICASE, manufactures mobile phone cases from fishing nets

POPSICASE manufactures mobile phone cases from fishing nets in Barcelona. Since 2020 they have been collecting used cases back from their customers, shredding them and reusing them in an unprecedented process they have called POCYCLING. It works!
