Hosted in Barcelona, Circular Economy Hotspot Catalonia combined guided tours to local companies and talks exploring the most pressing issues and solutions, making it the place to discover business initiatives, R&D projects, government strategies and collaborations pushing the circular economy forward in Europe.

AN INSPIRING EDITION

TOURS

19 guided tours to local companies and institutions from 9 sectors of the Catalan economy were offered, allowing visitors to discover 49 successful circular solutions first-hand.

TALKS

80 great experts gave a comprehensive overview of the current state of circular economy solutions in Catalonia and Europe at after-work sessions and the Congress, with 6 tracks diving into the most pressing issues.

NETWORKING

Visitors from around the world came together to share experiences and make connections.

Within the framework of the Brokerage Event, 775 b2b meetings were held in the circular economy area, with 149 participants.

This event was managed by our highly experienced health and prevention team to ensure the safety of all visitors, and was also a sustainable event, complying with the European Commission’s Circular Economy strategy centred on reusing, recycling and limiting waste.
